On 2-3 July 2019, REFUCOAT partners met in the outskirts of Cork, Ireland, to catch up on the latest project developments. The meeting started with a visit to Manor Farm, a self-producing chicken farm. The farm dates back to 1775 and is one of the oldest family companies in the country. Back in the day, the Carton Bros company run farm traded chickens in the Dublin Markets. Dedication to Quality and the production of unique and very tasty chicken products is a consistent factor within the Manor Farm. Currently, Manor Farm is testing REFUCOAT packaging on their chicken products.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss progress and future plans of the REFUCOAT project. All work packages presented updates of their activities, and the partners discussed the way forward. The successful meeting evoked enthusiasm to move forward into the last stage of the project.
